Whoever you hire, these questions will tell you what you need to know. Here's what to listen for, and how we answer.
1. Who will actually work on my case?
Look for named, senior people, not a rotating call center. Spearpoint is founder-led, so you deal with Robert and his team.
2. How does legal support work if a funder takes action?
Ask whether attorneys are involved, how they're engaged, and which states they cover. We coordinate legal support through our nationwide attorney network when a case calls for it.
3. What will it cost, and when do I pay?
You should understand the full cost before you commit to anything. We explain how our program works and what it costs in your free consultation.
4. What's the plan if things don't go smoothly?
Ask about the worst case, not just the best case: a funder who refuses to negotiate, a lawsuit, a frozen account. A good provider has a plan for each before you sign.
5. What happens after the settlement?
Ask whether the relationship ends when your case does. With Spearpoint, you're free to walk away debt-free, and if you want more, optional advisory services are available under a separate agreement.
